Ryan Gage has acted with the RSC a number of times, most recently seen in the 2008 ensemble playing Osric in the award-winning Hamlet and Flute in Midsummer Night's Dream. He also recently did an excellent Ace Face in the touring production of Quadrophenia (why this didn't get a West End transfer is beyond me). He can currently be seen in the critically acclaimed Ghost Stories, which is running at Duke of York's Theatre. Booking until 7th November 2010 www.ghoststoriestheshow.co.uk/

Excellent, that was already on my list to see - but I hadn't realised he was in it. Even better.

Of the cast members, Jonathan Dudley (@westendupdates) says he was the "worst", but considering it's a cast of four I'm not sure that's too bad. He did conceed that he was probably a better comedy actor (after I mentioned how hilarious his Flute was).

*laughs* Oh dear, but as you say 4 of 4 is not bad and maybe the others are just all ridiculously excellent. Shall let you know once I manage to squeeze it into my schedule somewhere.

Oh, pay them no mind! Ryan is great, the whole play's pretty awesome. Everyone should go see it, then report back and let us all know what you think! (Thus far I have found it to be quite divisive, so am EXTRA keen on getting feedback from peoples.)

I call them marmite plays - you either love it or hate it - weirdly the shows I really, really love tend to be these sort and tend to be absolutely slated in the press. And it is definitely more fascinating to find out what people think of them.
Will let you know what I think once I've seen it.
