I'm sure you all know about this already, but given that I've been having lots of fun over the last few days looking through the entries, I thought we ought to have a post about it. So in their own words: My RSC Gallery is a unique exhibition, created by artist Luke Jerram. It will be made up of 50 small boxes embedded into the walls of the transformed Royal Shakespeare Theatre (RST), the RSC’s new home in Stratford-upon-Avon. Each box will contain a piece of art inspired by Shakespeare, Theatre or the RSC, which visitors to the theatre will be able to enjoy for years to come. The RSC ran a competition until the end of August to find the public art and the entries can now be seen here: www.myrscgallery.com/about-rsc-gallery/So much excellent stuff it's ridiculous. So anyone on here enter? Both of your 'industrious' mods did and I'll post a picture of mine when I get back from work. I'm curious, come on satisfy me. What about the entries, any catching your eye? I'll pick out a few of my favourites in the next post.

Whups - had more difficulty tracking photo down then expected, so I'm later than planned (plus life got busy) - anyhow, I didn't make the shortlist but I thought I'd share the entry here anyway, because I'm still proud of it. Huge congratulations to Queen_Mab who has got through (go and vote for her - the entries 'A New Life' - and is awesome). And it's great to see so many of the entries I loved still in. Can't wait to see these in place.

Thanks Lorannah! Very proud that mine is still in. I'm glad to see a close up of yours too, now I can look at all the little pictures properly and spot places

Just thought I'd update you guys. I heard from the RSC yesterday. My entry will be gracing the walls of the RST!

I have been reliably informed that Gleanings got through too. Turns out the artist and I have a mutual friend.
